LEROSA PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: September 4, 2026
Last Updated: September 4, 2026

LEROSA is developed and published by Julien Elie Sabban (“LEROSA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the LEROSA application on Apple Watch.

This policy applies specifically to the LEROSA Apple Watch application. Visits to the website hosting this page may also be subject to the website’s general privacy and cookie policies.

  1. PRIVACY SUMMARY

LEROSA is designed to keep your fitness information under your control.

LEROSA:

• Does not require you to create an account.
• Does not display advertising.
• Does not use third-party advertising or tracking software.
• Does not use third-party analytics SDKs.
• Does not sell or rent personal information.
• Does not transmit health, fitness, workout, or motion information to us or to LEROSA-operated servers.
• Does not use Apple Health information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or data-mining purposes.

Workout and sensor information is processed locally on your Apple Watch and through Apple Health and HealthKit.

  1. APPLE HEALTH AND HEALTHKIT INFORMATION

With your explicit permission, LEROSA may access information available through Apple Health and HealthKit, including:

• Heart-rate information.
• Active energy burned.
• Workout records needed to identify and compare previous LEROSA sessions.

LEROSA may write information to Apple Health, including:

• Completed workout sessions.
• Active energy burned during a workout.
• Workout details such as WORK duration, REST duration, total duration, and completed cycles.

This information is used only to provide LEROSA’s workout features, live metrics, session summaries, and comparisons that benefit you directly.

LEROSA does not transmit Apple Health information to the developer or to external servers.

Apple Health information remains under your control and is managed according to your Apple Health, device, and iCloud settings. Apple’s handling of this information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies.

  1. MOTION INFORMATION

During an active workout, LEROSA may process motion information generated by Apple Watch sensors.

This information may be used to create workout and cycle comparisons. Motion information is processed locally, is not transmitted to us, and is not used for advertising, marketing, or tracking.

  1. INFORMATION STORED LOCALLY

LEROSA may store limited preferences locally on your device, including:

• Your selected WORK duration.
• Your selected REST duration.
• Your selected TOTAL duration.
• Whether the introductory tutorial has already been viewed.

These preferences are used only to operate the application and improve continuity between sessions. They are not transmitted to us.

  1. HOW INFORMATION IS USED

Information accessed by LEROSA is used only to:

• Operate the interval timer.
• Deliver haptic WORK, REST, countdown, and completion guidance.
• Display heart-rate and active-energy information.
• Calculate completed workout cycles.
• Prepare workout summaries and comparisons.
• Save completed workouts to Apple Health.
• Maintain your selected app preferences.

LEROSA does not make medical decisions and does not use your information to provide a diagnosis or medical treatment.

  1. DATA COLLECTION, SHARING, AND SALE

LEROSA does not collect or maintain health, fitness, motion, or workout information on developer-operated servers.

LEROSA does not sell, rent, trade, disclose, or share your Apple Health information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

LEROSA does not use your Apple Health information for targeted advertising, behavioral advertising, marketing, user profiling, or unrelated analytics.

  1. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Because LEROSA does not receive your health, fitness, workout, or motion information on its servers, we do not maintain a server-side copy of this information.

Workout information saved to Apple Health remains there according to your Apple Health and device settings.

You may review or delete saved workout information through the Apple Health application. Removing LEROSA from your Apple Watch does not necessarily delete workout records that were previously saved to Apple Health.

Locally stored LEROSA preferences remain on your device until they are changed, reset, or removed with the application, subject to Apple’s device and backup behavior.

  1. YOUR PERMISSIONS AND CHOICES

LEROSA requests access to Apple Health only through Apple’s permission system.

You may grant, deny, or revoke Apple Health permissions at any time through Apple Health or your device settings.

If you revoke permission, certain features—including heart-rate information, active-energy information, historical comparisons, or workout saving—may no longer be available. Basic app behavior may also be affected when HealthKit access is unavailable.

LEROSA cannot change your Apple Health permissions on your behalf.

  1. SUPPORT COMMUNICATIONS

If you voluntarily contact us at team@juliensabban.com, we will receive the email address you use, the contents of your message, and any information or attachments you choose to provide.

This information will be used only to respond to your request, investigate an issue, provide assistance, or review feedback.

Support communications may be processed and stored by the email service provider used to receive and respond to your message. We do not sell support information or use it for advertising.

Please do not send sensitive medical information or detailed Apple Health records unless it is necessary for your support request and you choose to provide it.

Support correspondence will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain appropriate support records, resolve disputes, or comply with applicable legal obligations.

You may request deletion of your support correspondence by contacting team@juliensabban.com, subject to any information we may be legally required to retain.

  1. SECURITY

LEROSA is designed to minimize information collection and keep workout processing on your devices.

No method of electronic processing or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. However, LEROSA limits access to the information necessary for its fitness features and relies on Apple’s security, permission, HealthKit, and device-protection systems.

  1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

LEROSA is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13, and the application does not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-operated servers.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising any minor’s use of fitness applications and exercise programs.

  1. FITNESS AND MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

LEROSA provides fitness and informational features only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Heart-rate, calorie, motion, and workout values may be estimates and depend on Apple Watch sensors, Apple Health, device placement, permissions, and availability.

  1. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to LEROSA, Apple platform requirements, or applicable privacy practices.

Any updated policy will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. If LEROSA’s information-handling practices materially change, the App Store privacy disclosures will also be updated as required.
